Softly falling,

Whispers of white,

Winter's calling,

A magical sight.

The world is hushed,

Beneath a blanket so pure,

Everything's touched,

By this wintery allure.

A gentle chill,

In the crisp, cold air,

It's a time to still,

And forget every care.

Beneath the flakes,

The world is renewed,

A transformation takes,

As nature is imbued.

This first snowfall,

A wondrous thing,

It brings joy to all,

And makes our hearts sing.
